About the course
This presentation offers a comprehensive overview of canine elbow osteoarthritis (OA), from understanding its developmental causes - such as elbow dysplasia, incongruity, and humeral intracondylar fissures - to practical approaches for diagnosis and both surgical and non-surgical management. Emphasis is placed on early recognition through observation, palpation, and imaging, as well as on building an individualized multimodal treatment plan. Rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, NSAID therapy, intra-articular treatments, and environmental modifications are discussed.
