About the course
This presentation provides a comprehensive update on cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease in dogs, covering its pathophysiology, risk factors, diagnostic strategies, and treatment options. It emphasizes that CCL disease is a chronic, degenerative condition often presenting acutely, and outlines both surgical and non-surgical approaches to management. Strategies for potential prevention—including delayed gonadectomy, maintaining lean body condition, and regular conditioning—are also discussed.
